Hebert Sundries has been serving fairgoers for more than 65 years. What started as a small family business has grown into multiple locations throughout the fairgrounds, while maintaining the family atmosphere that makes our team special.

🛍️ FAIR CASHIER

Our cashiers are the face of Hebert Sundries and play an important role in creating a positive experience for every customer.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Greeting customers with a friendly attitude

• Processing cash and credit-card transactions

• Counting back change accurately

• Keeping displays stocked and organized

• Maintaining a clean work area

• Answering customer questions

• Assisting with opening and closing duties

• Following company procedures and safety guidelines

• Working as part of a team during busy periods

❤️ WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We're looking for people who are:

• Reliable and punctual

• Friendly and professional

• Comfortable working with the public

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Able to stand for extended periods

• Able to accurately handle cash and make change

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Available to work weekends and evenings during the fair

• At least 18 years old

Previous experience is helpful, but not required.

Cashier, retail, restaurant, concession, and customer-service experience are all helpful.

No experience? No problem! We provide training for motivated individuals who are ready to learn.

Hebert Sundries is a family-owned seasonal concession business that has been serving fairgoers for more than 65 years.

Our business began as a small stand and has grown into multiple locations throughout the fairgrounds. Today, we provide customers with candy, snacks, bottled water, beverages, over-the-counter drugs, and everyday sundries.
